The space is completed with typical ‘secret agents’ things, such as; surveillance cameras, a reading area where you can find newspapers and magazines that have been cut out in certain ways so that you can watch people while pretending to read, a television with a channel that shows what the surveillance cameras see (the other channel shows slide show of “The Secret Places” photo collection), and a wall where people can leave messages to others by writing on plain stickers, then stick them on the wall.
The Map Installation:
In this occasion, we asked people to show where they were coming from before arriving at the National Gallery, and where they are going after; by sticking colored dots on the map (orange indicating the spots ‘before’, and yellow indicating the spots ‘after’). The results are very informative, and yet, as always, melancholic...
